Since its establishment in 2016, the Antenatal Diabetes Team has made significant improvements in the care of diabetic patients in maternity. Despite a growing caseload, they have enhanced screening processes, improved glucose control, and achieved remarkable outcomes such as reduced caesarean sections and preterm deliveries. Their dedication and teamwork have led to safer and more effective patient care.
