Did you know that you can give permission for a friend or relative to access your MyFrimleyHealth Record? Or that you can ask to use it to manage your child’s care?
They will be able to see much of your health information via our MyFrimleyHealth Record app or website, including your appointments, care team messages, health conditions, test results and medicines.
You may want to give someone ongoing access to your MyFrimleyHealth Record account. This could be a family member who helps you with your health, or perhaps a carer.
To receive proxy access, they will need their own MyFrimleyHealth Record account. They don’t have to be a Frimley Health patient and they can sign up via the app or website.
To give someone else with a MyFrimleyHealth Record account proxy access:
log in to your MyFrimleyHealth Record account
click ‘Sharing Hub’ from the menu
click ‘Manage friend and family access’
click ‘Invite someone’
enter the details of the person you want to give access to
select the level of access you want to provide
click the ‘send invite’ button
They should receive an email inviting them to sign up as your MyFrimleyHealth Record proxy. When they’ve confirmed some details, they will be able to log in to their own MyFrimleyHealth Record account and see your health record.
You can remove someone’s access to your account via the ‘Manage friend and family access’ section.
Mothers of children born at the Trust since 2022 should automatically be granted proxy access to their baby’s health record. Where access has not been granted, or to request access to an older child’s record, click ‘request access to a minor’s record’ under ‘Manage friend and family access’ and complete all the requested information. The MyFrimleyHealth Record team will then contact you for proof of identity and parental responsibility.
To request proxy access for a patient who does not have capacity to give it themselves, please contact the MyFrimleyHealth Record helpdesk.
