Congratulations to our latest ViPs – staff who have all demonstrated our shared values to support their colleagues or patients.
Our Values into Practice (ViP) Awards are presented at our board meetings to publicly recognise colleagues who go their extra mile in their work.
Chief Executive Neil Dardis thanked our latest award recipients on Friday (6 May) - Consultant Anaesthetist Deepa Jadhav, ward clerk Hazel Potter, and the consultants and specialty doctors in obstetrics and gynaecology at Wexham Park.
Dr Jadhav is Frimley Health’s lead for the national Getting It Right First Time (GIRFT) programme to improve care through an in-depth review of services.
She was nominated by a colleague for her “absolutely outstanding” efforts to improve our day case rates and alignment to GIRFT surgical pathways. They praised her drive and determination, and said her dedication to the programme ensured we were well received by the national GIRFT team.
Hazel Potter, a ward clerk with our community midwifery team at Frimley Park, was also nominated by colleagues. They said she always goes “above and beyond” in her role, working tirelessly to help and support the community team. She has an amazingly positive attitude and goes out of her way to ensure questions or queries from colleagues are answered.
Our consultants and specialty doctors in obstetrics and gynaecology at Wexham Park have made a remarkable improvement in the quality of teaching for their trainees. The service has received fantastic scores from junior doctors in an GMC survey and Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists now ranks it in the top 10 nationally. The team is represented in the images above by Chief of Service for Obstetrics and Gynaecology Anne Deans and Consultant Gynaecologist Kaajal Barot.
If you know a member of Trust staff who deserves to be honoured in this way, you can make a nomination.
