Safety initiative in running for HSJ award
A Frimley Health patient safety initiative has been shortlisted for a top national award. The joint submission by our Point of Care Testing (POCT) and Hospital @ Home frailty service teams is among the finalists in this year’s HSJ Patient Safety Awards.

Frailty team shortlisted for top award
The Frailty team at Frimley Health has been shortlisted in the prestigious NHS Parliamentary Awards for its Hospital@home service which provides care in patients’ own homes, helping them to avoid admission to hospital.
Gospel shines bright for our armed forces
Our FHFT Armed Forces Covenant lead, Kerry Gospel, has been nominated for the ‘Advocate of the Year’ award at the British Ex-Forces in Business Awards. Good luck Kerry!
Green light for a new state-of-the-art FPH
We are delighted to report that we have been granted funding approval for a state-of-the-art new hospital Frimley Park Hospital through the Government’s New Hospital Programme. This new hospital will provide the modern and efficient environment our patients and staff deserve.
Awards recognise excellence in care
Frimley Health is delighted to announce the launch of two new awards to recognise and celebrate the phenomenal work of our nursing and midwifery teams. Launching in the same month as International Day of the Midwife (5 May) and International Nurses Day (12 May), the DAISY Awards highlight the compassionate care that nurses, midwives and nursing associates provide to both patients and their loved ones, while the Tulip Awards are to be awarded to health care assistants who go above and beyond to ensure their patients receive the best standard of care.
