Choose the right service for your urgent needs
If you or a family member need to attend a hospital appointment you may be eligible for the non-emergency patient transport service (NEPTS) or the Healthcare Travel Costs Scheme.
Non-Emergency Patient Transport Service (NEPTS) is a limited resource made available for free to those who meet specific medical mobility needs, including the need to travel by stretcher, wheelchair or have regular visits to renal dialysis.
This service is provided across our area by South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) for eligible patients who are unable to use public or other transport due to their medical condition. For more information and how to book, see the website.
