Dr Anisha Bhagwanani
Professional background
Dr Anisha Bhagwanani is a Consultant Gastrointestinal Radiologist, with a specialist interest in colorectal cancer and inflammatory bowel disease imaging.
Dr Bhagwanani studied Medicine at Oxford University. She was awarded the Gibbs prize during her preclinical studies and the GlaxoSmithKline scholarship during her clinical years. Prior to radiology, she completed Core Medical Training and obtained the MRCP qualification in 2015. She completed her radiology training at University College London Hospital and subsequently undertook a subspecialist fellowship at the Peritoneal Malignancy Institute in Basingstoke before taking up her consultant post in 2023.
Dr Bhagwanani is a member of the British and European Societies of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology and is an active participant in research pertaining to gastrointestinal imaging.
Research interests
Inflammatory bowel disease including intestinal ultrasound, colorectal cancer, peritoneal malignancy.
