Professional background

Pippa started as a Consultant Radiologist in January 2010. Her main areas of interest are Breast, Gynaecological & Pelvic Floor Imaging. She undertook her Radiology training at St George's Hospital in SW London culminating in a Final Year Fellowship in Breast Imaging. She also trained at St Bart’s Hospital, becoming proficient in reporting body MRI with a focus on Gynaecological imaging. She is proficient in all methods of breast imaging including mammograms, performing & interpreting breast & axillary ultrasound & Breast MRI & advanced mammographic techniques including tomosynthesis & contrast enhanced mammography. Her skills include performing fine needle aspirations & core biopsies using imaging guidance & localisation procedures prior to surgery. She provides imaging services for the Gynaecology & Pelvic Floor teams, performing ultrasounds & interpreting CT & MRI images required as part of further workup. She has developed the MRI service to look at pelvic floor dysfunction & to assess for pelvic mesh complications. Frimley Park Hospital is an accredited Endometriosis Unit & provides imaging support for this. She also reports and performs general Radiological investigations.
