Professional background

Dr Pushkar Dadarkar MBBS MRCP(UK) FRCA qualified in Medicine at St George’s Hospital Medical School (University of London) in 1990 and trained in Anaesthesia at The Royal Free and University College Hospital London.

He initially spent time in Internal Medicine and his medical background includes experience in Accident and Emergency, Care of the Elderly, Cardiology and Renal Medicine during which time he gained the diploma of Membership of the Royal College of Physicians. He then switched specialty to Anaesthesia and later became a Consultant at Wexham Park Hospital in 2003.

Dr Dadarkar has kept up to date with the latest techniques in anaesthesia and teaches on Difficult Airway and Ultrasound Guided nerve block courses. He draws upon his broad experience to help achieve his aim of providing a safe and comfortable experience for his patients.

Areas of interest:

Anaesthesia for a wide range of surgery including orthopaedics, urology, general surgery, plastics, breast and gynaecology.
Anaesthesia support for Labour Ward.

Research interests

Laboratory and clinical research undertaken as research fellow at the Mayo Clinic and Parkland hospital USA.
