Professional background
Anna Sharrock is a vascular surgeon at Frimley Park Hospital, and runs clinics at Royal Surrey and Basingstoke sites. She trained in Wessex and graduated from Imperial College London. She has deployed overseas as a military surgeon to Europe, Asia and the Middle East. She works in the fields of general vascular surgery including carotid disease, limb ischaemia, aneurysmal disease and vascular access for dialysis.
Research interests
Anna Sharrock has helped to develop vascular access for dialysis and is the surgical lead for the service. She has an interest in education and is the College Surgical Tutor and Military Associate Dean for the region. Her research has been in limb salvage, based at Imperial College, and she maintains an interest in trauma surgery.
