The legal team manages a wide range of legal matters for the Trust.

These include:

• All clinical / non-clinical claims brought against the Trust

• Inquests

• Criminal investigations involving Trust witnesses

• Medical treatment cases via High Court applications

For clarity, the legal team cannot provide legal advice to Trust staff on personal (non-Trust related) matters and similarly cannot provide legal advice to patients / parents who should seek advice from their local Citizens Advice Bureau or a law firm.
