Research support services

The research and innovation department has strong working relations with clinical teams and support services including pathology, radiology, pharmacy, IT and commercial services.

Artificial Intelligence

We have an established AI Steering Group and governance framework, which has been highlighted as an exemplar for the set up and delivery.

Big data

Frimley Health implemented Epic as our electronic health record in June 2022. This is now established, and we are looking to develop our big data research. We are part of the Epic Cosmos Council, which supports combined research across institutions with Epic installed as the electronic health record.
