The Frimley Adult Integrated Respiratory service (FAIR) is a joined up, integrated, patient centred, specialist service of respiratory nurses, physiotherapists and physiotherapy assistants/ technicians providing outstanding respiratory support for patients with asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, bronchiectasis and home oxygen.
FAIR comprises of two sub teams who together cover the geographical area of Frimley Integrated Care Board (ICB):
The Adult Integrated Respiratory team (AIR) provides respiratory services to patients in East Berkshire.
The Respiratory Integrated team South (RITS) provides respiratory services to patients in North-East Hampshire, Farnham and Surrey Heath.
FAIR in its entirety delivers respiratory services in the community, secondary care, outpatient, and domiciliary care settings depending on the patients’ needs.
All FAIR staff are highly motivated, receptive to change and dedicated to providing patients with a high standard of care. The team prides itself on how caring, courteous, and knowledgeable its staff are; each staff member strives to achieve the Frimley Health Trust values and core behaviours. As a specialist team our clinical decision making is underpinned by a culture of research and innovation.
