Patients loving AI digital assistant Dora
Innovative use of AI technology to phone and assess cataract patients after their operation is proving a success story. Digital assistant Dora has made more than 2,100 surgical follow-up calls to Frimley Health patients since the study began in December 2022. Usually a nurse-led call, having the AI system handle the routine clinical conversation has freed up 530 hours of nursing time within the Trust’s eye department.
Our amazing January ViPs
Three more Values into Practice Awards were presented at January’s Trust Board meeting, recognising colleagues who embody the Trust's shared values: Committed to Excellence, Working Together and Facing the Future.
